Payment is expected on the day of your appointment (you will be invoiced immediately afterwards) either by BACS, card or cash.

I no longer accept payment through insurance companies. Some will cover your physiotherapy treatment with me, but this varies between companies, and you would need to pay for your appointment yourself, and then claim back from them if they agree to this. Please check with them and gain authorisation before proceeding.

Virtual appointments are also available at the same cost, and can be a great alternative to a face to face session.

Clinical Pilates classes
£13/£16 PAYG

Helen is delighted to be able to offer antenatal, postnatal, beginners, improvers, intermediate through to advanced level clinical Pilates matwork classes at Sherbourne Lodge Wellbeing. Classes are £13 each if booked in half term blocks (usually 6 classes), or £16 if you chose to pay as you go (PAYG). All class attendees need screening prior to commencing classes. 1:1's are recommended for those who are new to pilates.
Clinical Pilates individual 1:1 sessions

Helen is thrilled to be able to offer individual Clinical Pilates matwork sessions. 1:1's are £75 for an hour (new patient or follow up), £65 for 45 mins or £55 for 30 mins.
If you would like to attend with a friend or two then prices for 2:1's (two clients, one instructor) are £37.50 per person for 60 mins, or £25 per person for a 60 min 3:1 (three clients, one instructor).
Real-time Ultrasound
£55
30 minute appointments are available specifically for real-time ultrasound assessment of the abdominal and/or pelvic floor muscles. This can be an incredibly helpful way to view the muscles using a scanning method similar to that used during pregnancy. It can be extremely useful to see how well the muscles work. Suitable for Physiotherapy and for Pilates clients.

Trial of pessary fitting appointment
£250

This is an approximately 90 minute appointment to trial fitting a vaginal pessary to support your pelvic organ prolapse. Soft silicone pessaries that are usually suitable for self management are used where possible. The cost of the appointment includes a pessary to go home with the fitting trial has been successful. Usually after a pessary fitting trial, you will be seen again after two weeks, then three months, and at 6 monthly intervals thereafter to monitor your progress.

Pelvic health initial assessment
£100

This is an approximately 1 hour long appointment where a comprehensive assessment of your needs is carried out, including a physical examination. Advice is provided, as is a home exercise programme. Treatment may be started during an initial appointment. A plan is then made for your ongoing treatment.
Pelvic Health ongoing consultation / treatment
£75
Pelvic Health treatment sessions usually last up to 45 minutes and may include any combination of the following treatment modalities: manual therapy, soft tissue release, visceral mobilisation, practical lifestyle advice, a comprehensive exercise program, pilates exercises, and acupuncture if appropriate. 30 (£55) or 60 minute (£100) treatment sessions are also available.
The Mummy MOT
£125
This is a 75 minute comprehensive postnatal check that considers all of your specific postpartum needs, including physical assessment of your posture and biomechanics, abdominal muscles (tummy gap check) and your pelvic floor muscles. It includes provision of a detailed plan for your recovery and return to exercise, including an exercise program which can be accessed online.
